Prescription Savings Programs
Prescription savings programs may help lower the cost of certain medications by offering discounted pricing at participating pharmacies. These programs can sometimes provide a lower price than insurance. If so, the pharmacy may process the prescription using the discount instead of your insurance.
If you use a prescription savings program while also having insurance, the amount paid usually does not count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
